The NFP Sector Development Blueprint is a decade-long strategy designed to bolster the sector’s resilience and impact. It addresses operational challenges and advocates for balanced, sustainable support for advocacy initiatives.
The plan identifies 18 initiatives spanning regulatory reform, people-driven innovation, and forward-focused adaptability and is being crafted with input from the Blueprint Expert Reference Group (BERG),
Advocacy organisations, including DANA, are central to shaping this vision. They emphasise critical measures, such as aligning funding with advocacy demands and embedding grassroots, rights-based approaches. Notably, the Blueprint calls for balanced support between individual and systemic advocacy, essential for addressing entrenched structural inequities.
